Breathwork in Bend, Oregon & Online
Two approaches. One intention: helping you reconnect with yourself through the breath.
Breathwork can be powerful and deeply personal. Some sessions invite deeper exploration and emotional release. Others use practical breathing techniques to support greater calm, resilience, sleep, and everyday well-being.
At Confluence, I offer both Conscious Connected Breathwork and Functional Breathwork, allowing us to choose an approach based on what you need and where you are right now.
Not sure which is right for you? We can figure that out together.
If you're carrying something heavy, breath can be the way back to yourself.
Conscious Connected
Breathwork:
A guided breathing practice for deeper exploration, emotional release, and reconnection with yourself.
Conscious Connected Breathwork uses a continuous, circular breathing pattern in a supported setting. As the breath deepens, it can create space to move beyond the thinking mind and become more aware of sensations, emotions, and patterns held within your experience.
Every session is different. There is nothing you need to force or achieve. You remain in control of your breath and are encouraged to follow your own pace throughout the experience.
Benefits of Conscious Connected Breathwork
Emotional release:
Create space to experience and move through emotions that may have been difficult to access.
Deeper self-connection:
Move out of constant thinking and into a greater awareness of your body and inner experience.
Stress relief & greater ease:
Many people leave a session feeling lighter, calmer, and more spacious.
Clarity & perspective:
Slowing down and connecting with the body can create room for new awareness and insight.
A supported space:
Experience the practice with guidance, choice, and respect for your individual process.
Functional Breathwork:
Practical breathing techniques designed to improve the way you breathe throughout everyday life.
Functional Breathwork focuses on breathing mechanics and patterns—how you breathe during rest, movement, stress, and sleep. Through simple, intentional techniques, you can develop greater awareness of your breathing and learn tools to help shift your state when you need them.
Unlike Conscious Connected Breathwork, which can invite deeper emotional exploration, Functional Breathwork is primarily about building practical skills you can use in daily life.
Benefits of Functional Breathwork
Calm & Regulation:
Learn breathing techniques that can help you settle during moments of stress and return to a more grounded state. Research suggests controlled breathing practices can help reduce perceived stress.
Better Breathing Habits:
Develop greater awareness of patterns such as over-breathing, mouth breathing, or shallow breathing, and learn techniques that support more efficient, intentional breathing.
Sleep & Recovery:
Use gentle breathing practices to help the body slow down and prepare for rest. Evidence suggests slow breathing before bedtime may improve self-reported sleep quality, although objective findings remain less conclusive.
Energy & Focus:
Support more efficient breathing patterns that can help you feel more balanced, focused, and energized throughout the day.
Greater Resilience:
Build familiarity with your breath so you have practical tools available when life becomes stressful or demanding.
